A Calamigos Ranch Wedding: Karolina and Jonathan Beneath the Oaks
A real Calamigos Ranch wedding with luminous bridal portraits, a beloved dog, vows beneath the oak canopy, a greenhouse-style reception, and night portraits by the Ferris wheel.

Karolina and Jonathan's Calamigos Ranch wedding used the property's full range, from bright preparation rooms and oak-shaded paths to an airy reception space and graphic nighttime portraits. Their dog appeared throughout the day, making the gallery feel unmistakably personal.
The source folder mixed multiple cameras rather than one simple numbered export, so we used its legacy progression as a guide and rebuilt the story in the natural order of the day: details, preparation, portraits, ceremony, reception, and night.
A Soft, Personal Morning
The stationery and rings began in pale green and white, followed by Karolina in deep window light as she finished preparing. Her gown carried clean, sculptural lines that photographed differently in each room, luminous against white walls and dramatic against dark wood.
Then came the family member who changed every formal portrait. Their dog joined Karolina in the suite and later appeared outside, bringing humor and affection into a morning that could otherwise have felt highly polished.

Portraits With Their Dog and Beneath the Trees
Karolina held their dog for a bright bridal portrait before meeting Jonathan outside among the oaks. The couple's early portraits stayed relaxed, using bridges, paths, and layered greenery without pulling them away from the wedding for long.
Later we returned to the woods for a more editorial frame, Karolina seated beneath the trees with the train spread into the landscape. It gave the gallery a quiet pause before the ceremony.

Vows Beneath the Oak Canopy
The ceremony unfolded in the grove beneath mature branches and white florals. Karolina entered through the trees before joining Jonathan in a circle of family and friends, with their dog close enough to remain part of the story.
We photographed the vows both wide and close, holding the scale of the oak canopy along with the small exchanges between the couple. The layered green background gave even the candid reactions a finished quality.

An Airy Reception and Ferris Wheel Finale
The reception opened beneath a greenhouse-style roof with pale flowers, greenery, and long tables filling the room. Daylight moved through the structure before candles and event lighting took over after sunset.
For the last portraits, we stepped into the dark and used the illuminated Ferris wheel as a graphic backdrop. The hero holds the full blue structure behind the couple, while the final black-and-white frame returns the story to their connection after all the scale and color.
