Portrait Project Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
At Michael Anthony Studios, every session requires dedicated time, preparation, and staffing. To protect our team’s time and ensure fairness to all clients, we maintain the following rescheduling and cancellation policies. Your deposit is 100% refundable provided you attend your session and reveal appointment however taking time on our calendar does require us to place conditions on how you can receive your credit.
Please review these terms carefully before booking your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel within 48 hours of the date they booked and paid their deposit and receive a 100% refund of their reservation deposit. Note this is not the session date, but the date that you booked your appointment.
If the cancellation is submitted after the 48-hour window has passed, the deposit becomes non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, including (but not limited to):
Illness
Scheduling conflicts
Personal emergencies
Transportation issues
Changes of mind
This policy exists because the studio reserves time, personnel, and resources for every session.
Attendance Requirement for Deposit Refunds
Your reservation deposit is fully refundable only if you attend both of the following:
Your photography session
Your reveal and ordering appointment
If you attend both appointments, you may choose one of the following:
Receive a full refund of your reservation deposit in addition to your artwork credit, or
Apply your deposit toward the purchase of any additional artwork or products.
Your deposit is yours either way—but attendance is required for a refund.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that life happens, and we do allow rescheduling with proper notice.
One Complimentary Reschedule
Clients may reschedule one time at no charge as long as the request is made at least 7 days prior to the session date.
A reschedule request inside the 7-day window is treated as a cancellation and will result in forfeiture of the reservation deposit.
After the one complimentary reschedule, any additional rescheduling requests will require a new reservation deposit to secure a new date.
No-Show Policy
A client is considered a no-show if they:
Miss the session appointment
Arrive more than 20 minutes late
Cancel on the same day
No-shows automatically forfeit the reservation deposit. A new deposit will be required to book a future session.
Agreement to These Terms
By booking a session with Michael Anthony Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all terms outlined in this Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy.
