The Consultation
Every commission starts with a conversation, in studio or by phone. We talk about who's in the frame, the walls you're decorating, and the feeling you want when you look at these images in twenty years.
By the end you'll have a date, a plan, and nothing left to guess about.
Design & Styling
We plan every look together. You'll get wardrobe guidance built around your palette and your home, and access to the studio's designer gown collection, especially loved for maternity sessions.
Hair and makeup recommendations, color coordination for groups, what reads as art on a wall, handled.
The Session
Studio days are calm and unhurried. Professional Profoto light, hand-painted backdrops, and direction specific enough that no one is ever left wondering what to do with their hands.
Within ten minutes, most people forget the camera. That's when the real portraits happen.
The Reveal
A week or two later you return to see your portraits projected at full scale, the first time you see them is the way they're meant to be seen.
Together we choose the images worth keeping and design the pieces for your actual walls. No pressure, no rush; just the work, at size.
Your Artwork
Your selections are printed to archival standards, hand-finished, oil-contoured by an artist, and framed or bound to suit your home.
Delivered ready to hang and ready to outlive every hard drive you'll ever own.
The session is an experience. The artwork is the point. Everything in between is designed so you can simply be present.

How long does the whole experience take?
Most sessions run about an hour; the reveal appointment follows within a few weeks. From first call to artwork on your wall is typically one to two months, and we'll give you exact timelines at every step.
How does the investment work?
Your session is a styled studio experience with a private, in-person reveal, and the investment goes into the finished artwork you choose to own, with 0% financing available through Synchrony. Session fees and collection pricing are published openly on our investment page.
Which studio will we use?
Whichever is yours: McKinney, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth) or Valencia, California (Los Angeles). Both are private, appointment-only, and equipped identically, studio light, backdrops, gown wardrobe.
Why does everything happen in the studio?
Because control is what makes heirloom art possible, sculpted light at any hour, hand-painted backdrops, a gown wardrobe steps away, and zero dependence on weather or crowds. It's also simply a calmer experience, especially with children.
