Mission Inn Riverside Wedding | Inland Empire Wedding Photographers

As a wedding photography studio based in Los Angeles for over ten years, we have seen more beautiful wedding venues than we can count! Inevitably, there are a few favorites that stand out from the rest for their excellence. We recently booked a couple who brought us back to one of those favorite locations and a true gem among choices for wedding venues: The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. This historic hotel located in Riverside offers a plethora of gorgeous backgrounds which is exactly what we needed for Julie & Marin’s wedding-themed photo shoot.

The Happy Couple

Martin popped the question to Julie during a romantic dinner at Catch LA, after which he surprised her with a visit to the beach. Little did she know, on the beach waiting for them were special friends and family members ready to celebrate! Their original plans for a beachy wedding ceremony and reception in Palos Verdes had to be rescheduled (thanks to a certain global pandemic). Luckily their dreams for an elegant wedding shoot didn’t get put on hold, and we were able to capture the essence of their would-be wedding at the unforgettable Riverside Mission Inn.

Weddings at Mission Inn Riverside

When scouting LA for a photo shoot location that offers multiple venues, look no further than The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Built in 1879 and resembling a castle, this true National Historic Landmark consistently takes our breath away. You will absolutely be captivated by the Spanish mission-style architecture which features flying buttresses, towers, and intricately carved facades. The hotel boasts many elegant and luxurious photo shoot backdrops in the following venues:

  • St. Francis of Assisi Chapel

  • St. Cecilia Chapel

  • The Court of the Orient

  • The Grand Parisian Ballroom

  • The Spanish Art Gallery

  • The Galleria

  • The Santa Barbara Room

  • The Renaissance Room

  • The Court of the Orient and Ho-O-Kan Room

The Photo Shoot

Ultimately, we couldn’t fulfill the vision Julie and Martin had of a sunset wedding on the beach, but we feel we were able to capture the subtle and romantic feel of their original dream thanks to the Mission Inn Hotel. Every creative shot we took is only enhanced by the hotel’s historic beauty, from its outdoor courtyards and fountains to its vaulted ceilings and curving stairwells. Our bride and groom will now treasure these photos as an important part of their wedding journey. Contact us today to learn more about realizing your dream for your own Mission Inn Hotel wedding.
