I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan and Yana, a delightful, fun-loving couple. They came to me with an idea for a gorgeous destination wedding. It ended up being one of the most unique venues I have had the pleasure of photographing.
Not only was there a stunning beach, but there were beautiful landscapes and outstanding architecture to explore. These features made it a dream come true for us as a destination wedding photographer in Cabo. It also made it one of the most romantic getaway areas around for the bride and groom to say, “I Do.”
Meet Yana and Jonathan
About three years ago, the stars aligned for this happy couple. Their company hosted an event and swept them into a whirlwind of togetherness. Not only did they find in each other a beautiful friendship, but they discovered that for them, there would never be a greater love for them.
Their love of adventure and fun, allowed Jonathan to surprise Yana with a surprise engagement during a helicopter ride in Maui. They were looking at waterfalls and when the helicopter touched down, he proposed amid the majestic scenery.
The Wedding Day at The Solaz Resort, Los Cabos
Considering adventure and romance were a part of the proposal, The Solaz Resort made a perfect venue for this delightful couple. They were able to say their vows standing on a beach, surrounded by family and friends. The bride was stunning in a Kinsley James gown as the band Déjà Vu played. Then, as the sunset on their magical day, a beautiful firework display kicked off the party, and everyone was dancing under twinkling lights and stars.
We were happy that we were able to stay after the ceremony, watching all the festivities. It was a real pleasure to see this couple spending time with family and friends, photographing the emotions of their day.
The Spectacular Views of Los Cabos
Most people expect romance in a place like Los Cabos. However, for us, it is practically a second home because we have spent so much time exploring it. We look forward to returning soon. This venue now holds special appeal to us. It’s gorgeous and designed to make planning a beautiful wedding day easy for all couples.
