Denise and Eric got married at the gorgeous Newhall Mansion this past Saturday. This was the second weekend in a row we had the pleasure of working with the wonderful staff of Tricia Dahlgren Weddings and Events, Celebrate Florals, and Cake Goodness. Needless to say the event was organized and absolutely gorgeous. Also, catering was provided by the delicious DJ’s Catering. This was a beautiful Newhall Mansion Wedding.

Denise and Eric had an absolutely beautiful and unique Disney themed wedding at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Los Angeles, the Newhall Mansion. The Newhall Mansion features Victorian Style Architecture, and matching furniture inside. We were given a beautiful cloud cover to shoot under, making the light almost perfect no matter which way we turned. The iconic stairs in front of the mansion provided a beautiful backdrop for photos of the bride and groom, as well as photos of the wedding party. We were very happy to be given the chance to document this awesome day for this couple. Newhall Mansion wedding pictures always turn out beautiful, but this day was particularly awesome.

One of my most favorite moments of the wedding was during the ceremony when Denise’s father Renato handed her off to Eric, you can see in the photos below the sheer emotion that was happening, and that allowed for some great photo journalistic moments. Also, during Denise’s first dance with her father, DJ Joel Velasco turned up the beat a bit and Denise and Renato danced to a mash up of today’s top 100 right under the beautiful reception tent provided by 24-7 Events. That’s right, Renato was whipping and nay-nay-ing, and doing it well I might add. Denise and Eric also enjoyed a first dance, accompanied by the wedding party, to some of the classic Disney love songs. Being a fan of the old Disney movies myself, I had to say it was one of the most unique and beautiful first dance sequences, as the entire bridal party joined them in the beginning.

Every Newhall Mansion Wedding is beautiful, and yesterday was no exception. We love the beautiful pictures we are able to capture at the 10-plus weddings we photograph at this venue every year. Thank you Denise and Eric for trusting us with your memories, and we cannot wait to see you again!
