Le Foyer Ballroom Wedding | Hrug and Margaret

We are lucky to be one of the best Armenian Wedding Photographers in Los Angeles, so we were thrilled to be asked to be a part of the beautiful Le Foyer Ballroom Armenian Wedding of Margaret and Hrug. It wasn’t just because Le Foyer Ballroom is one of our favorite Los Angeles Wedding Venues either, this wedding was simply so much fun.

Their Story

High school pals, Margaret and Hrug, were pretty distant throughout the years as they each went their separate ways after high school graduation, however, they never completely lost touch and even spent time together occasionally. It wasn’t until Hrug invited Margaret on a date to a show at the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica that they realized they had a lot in common. Their date went really well and, as they say, the rest is history.

The Proposal

Their mutual love of craft beer and a steampunk vibe lead Hrug to choose The Six restaurant in Studio City as his place to propose. He arranged for a private table in the corner of the patio and even had some stealthy family assistance. (His sister went ahead of them to decorate with lights, flowers, and personal photos!) Margaret was clueless when she turned around to find Hrug down on one knee and, of course, said yes. Even when he had to perform yoga-like contortions to get the ring box out of its hiding spot: in his sock!

Their Wedding Day

The couple’s Armenian wedding incorporates all of the things that they love. When they chose the beautiful location at the Le Foyer Ballroom they envisioned a rustic and beautiful event, but, they got so much more.

Margaret was a stunning sight in her gown from Lili Bridal as she walked down the aisle to her happily ever after, Hrug. She had her hair done by Sisian at Covac Beauty Bar and her makeup perfectly polished by Matty Agabegi. They did a fabulous job because her bridal portraits were beyond beautiful.

We loved capturing all the details of the wedding they planned and coordinated by themselves, everything from the flowers arranged by Renaissance Flowers to the gorgeous desserts, perfectly reflected the couple’s love.

The vibe of the day was so fun as DJ Sevag helped the bride and groom, and guests alike, to dance the night away.
