Kacey and Garrett are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I had the pleasure of photographing them a couple of weeks ago. Kacey and Garrett have one of the most awesome engagement stories ever! I will let Kacey tell it to you directly:
“For my ‘Birthday’ Garrett surprised me with a weekend getaway to South Coast Winery in Temecula, California. The evening of my birthday we went on a carriage ride through the vineyards. They set us up a private picnic, and it was there Garrett told me he had one more surprise. Closing my eyes he placed a necklace around my neck. I looked down and it was a silver heart engraved with “05/12/2012.” Turning the necklace over the back read “Marry Me!” That is when he got down on a knee and he asked me to marry him. I SAID YES!”
Of course you did Kacey, you are both perfect for each other. We did this shoot at UCLA, one of my favorite engagement photography locations. Kacey and Garrett are from Oregon, and that is where they will be tying the knot come early next year. Thank you two so much for allowing us to capture your engagement session!!!
