Tracy and Brandon’s wedding was so much fun over the weekend! I had noticed during Tracy’s getting ready photos a vanity mirror with a light around the edges. I knew I wanted to photograph the couple through it, however I was nervous I wouldn’t get the opportunity to photograph them together. When the bride and groom had to clean themselves up after their super awesome cake-smash-cutting, I knew it was the perfect opportunity Earlier in the day I had set my lights up and used Jen as a model for this shot. I adjusted a couple of stops for the lack of ambient light, and took this photo in a single shot. Sometimes, when time is of the essence, having a plan in place can help you to achieve the shots you otherwise would not be able to get!
