Unforgettable wedding moments

The events of a wedding can fill an entire day with beautiful memories that the bride and groom will treasure for a lifetime. When a couple thinks back on their special day, some of these moments may stand out from the rest in memories and photographs that will be treasured for a lifetime. Here are a few of the top wedding moments that many couple’s have deemed unforgettable:

Getting ready

A bride laughing with her best friend, a groom’s father straightening his son’s tie, the maid of honor helping a flower girl get prepared, the anticipation and excitement just before a wedding brings many special moments that can make getting ready for the ceremony just as memorable as the wedding itself.

The first look

For some couples, it is a intimate moment before the ceremony where the bride and groom steal a few minutes together. For others, it’s the instant the bride takes her first step down the aisle and sees the groom waiting. Whenever a couple shares their first look, it is a moment full of love and surprise that will be treasured for a life time.  We are big believers in doing a first look as the expressions and moments you share are well worth breaking tradition.

The kiss

It goes without saying that the wedding kiss is an amazing moment. The love and emotion shared in this instance is contagious, filling the entire room with joy.

The first dance

The newlyweds first dance together is romantic, fun and unforgettable. Couples may choose a slow love song or a more fast-paced dance, but no matter what they choose they are sure to always treasure those fantastic few minutes.

The toasts

Wedding toasts are an opportunity for loved ones to say things that speak to the heart. Decades after a wedding, these special words can still bring warm memories to the couple.

The cutting of the cake

Newlyweds may choose to have some fun and get a little messy, or gently offer their other-half a first bite of something sweet. Either way the cutting and sharing of the cake is truly something special.

The last dance

As the ceremony comes to an end, a couple’s last dance at the wedding can be just as memorable as the first. As brides and grooms find themselves entertaining wedding guests, it is not uncommon for them to be separated for part of the reception. The last dance is a chance for them to come back together for a few romantic minutes before the celebration ends.
