Looking back on 2013, and inspiration moving forward | Santa Clarita, Dallas Wedding Photographers

Every year for the past three years I have created a blog post looking back on our prior year in order to show thanks and appreciation for how much our fans and clients have helped our business come along.  2013 exceeded our expectations beyond belief, and I am so thankful that we have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people.  This year we have met so many great people who have inspired us, not only our clients, but also amazing wedding vendors, as well as other photographers.

Just this year we have photographed 30 beautiful weddings, over 40 engagement sessions, and tons of new families.  We also rebranded our business, which has helped us convey our photographic style to more brides looking for photographers who shoot as we do.  We finally completed our promotional video (Which has been on the list since 2011)!  We moved into our first storefront studio in Santa Clarita, and despite some of the challenges and risks, it has been extremely beneficial for us as a business.  In addition, we have been published more than a dozen times this year, and just this week some of our work will be featured in a major international magazine (more details to come when I get the copy)!  We joined the Santa Clarita Wedding Professionals in order to grow our network, and met with some extremely talented vendors that we have been able to share with our clients looking for creative and talented individuals who can help make their wedding day absolutely amazing.  While this year I wanted to focus on our business, next year will bring a whole list of new milestones for us to cross.

I cannot express our gratitude to our past, present, and future clients.  When we first opened our doors in 2010, I did not expect to ever meet so many great people.  I am graciously overwhelmed with the amount of support that we have from our Facebook fans, as well as our clientele.  I could not have imagined after starting our Facebook page in 2011 with 1 fan (probably my mom), that we could have grown to over 3,300 fans worldwide.  Even as appreciative as I am for how much our business has grown, I have major goals for the end of 2014 for MA and JM Photo.  I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish!
