The Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden is the prime location for an outdoor wedding. The Arboretum offers seven ceremonial sites and four reception sites. History

The Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Los Angeles is a 127-acre garden located in what was once the heart of historic Rancho Santa Anita in Arcadia. Its goal is to cultivate a natural learning resource that promotes inspiration to those who visit. The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a beautiful reflection of Southern California’s unique climate and community. It’s a historical site that includes Native American, Rancho Period, and late 19th century culture

Popular locations include the Bauer Lawn, Rose Garden, Waterfall and the Queen Anne Cottage lawn. The Arboretum’s wedding season is during April through October.

Parking

Parking at the Arboretum is free throughout the year. They have two parking lots, one is adjacent to the entrance of the garden. The second can be found south of the front lawn.

Capacity

The Arboretum is able to accommodate varying amounts of people depending on the location you decide on. Ayres Hall is able to accommodate as many as 300 people, while the popular Rose Garden can hold up to 150 attendees. Catering & Included Items

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden biggest perk is its selection of ceremony and reception sites. Arboretum also offers on-site caterers, security personnel, and chair and table rentals.

Despite these perks, the venue can be quite demanding as they do require hiring a security guard and purchasing insurance coverage if you’re serving alcohol. This is, of course, to preserve the natural beauty of these venues, and you’ll thank them for taking strict precautions.
