MAP has nearly 10 years of experience photographing weddings worldwide. Michael, our lead photographer, is also a renowned educator, having taught thousands about lighting, posing, and storytelling.
Our focus is on providing a fantastic experience from start to finish, ensuring you get stunning photos and enjoy every moment. Our team receives specialized training throughout the year, allowing us to handle any situation, work under pressure, and adapt to any lighting conditions.
We have a dedicated experience manager to keep your timeline on track, ensure timely delivery of products, and have your photos ready within two weeks. Our hand-crafted albums are designed with care, and every photo is approved by Michael himself. Michael has received numerous accolades from industry peers, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
Are there any travel fees?
Yes, travel fees apply for destinations beyond a 30-mile radius from our studio. Fees are based on driving time, excluding the first 30 minutes, and calculated using Google Maps. Rates start at $150 per hour. For travel over 150 miles or 2.5 hours, hotel stays may be required. For events outside California or Texas, additional fees apply for hotels, rental cars, and specific location charges. Full details are available on our travel policy page.
How do payments work?
We require a $1000 deposit for photography ($1500 for photo + video), with the balance due 30 days before the event. For artwork collections, we offer up to 12 months of interest-free financing or 36 months through Affirm.
How do we finalize our booking?
Just let us know which package you’d like to move forward with, and we will send you a contract and retainer. If you prefer to schedule a meeting first, click this link to do so.
Do you edit our photos?
Yes, all images are professionally edited with advanced color correction. This includes adjusting hues, saturation, and luminance and ensuring accurate skin tones. We correct exposure and contrast and apply localized adjustments to enhance details and maintain consistency across the gallery. Each photo is fine-tuned to highlight the best aspects and create a cohesive visual narrative. For a detailed breakdown of our editing process, please visit this link.
How do digital files work?
After your reveal appointment, we will finalize an online gallery and send you a downloadable version of your photos. Wedding galleries remain online for 1-year from the date of your wedding. We recommend downloading your photos and backing them up. Digital files for portrait (i.e. boudoir, bridal, engagement) sessions are not included with session fee but are made available during reveal appointments.
Can you let me know more about your albums?
Our wedding albums are meticulously handcrafted to preserve your special day in a tangible, lasting form. Each album is custom-designed, featuring high-quality materials and lay-flat pages that showcase your photos beautifully. We emphasize the importance of a wedding album as it serves as a cherished heirloom, allowing you to relive and share your memories for generations. The albums are designed to tell the story of your wedding day, capturing the essence and emotions in a way that digital images alone cannot.
How many photos will we receive?
We typically deliver 50-100 photos per hour of coverage, but we stress quality over quantity. If your wedding has more events, then you will likely have a higher quantity of photos.
