If you're getting married in California, I'm sure you've come across wedding pictures from a Calamigos Ranch venue. Once you see it, it's obvious why so many brides and grooms choose to be photographed there! Calamigos Ranch has a few different venues for brides to choose from, but the one that our bride and groom chose for their wedding day featured a gorgeous waterfall behind the altar, as well as string lights that illuminated their ceremony site. This scenery here is gorgeous for photography, and the spacious bridal suites are a beautiful place to start photographing at the beginning of the wedding day when the bride is putting on her dress and garter. On this day, our bride and groom had a traditional Jewish ceremony, where their friends and family watched them uphold traditions from their faith. I always love photographing different religious ceremonies, and capturing the moments that are most special to our bride and groom.
In this image, I was able to capture the tender, genuine moment between our bride and her groom just seconds after they were officially married. I did not set up this photograph, but their genuine joy as they are walking back down the aisle shines through to make this a captivating image.1/125; f/4.0; ISO 800; 50.0 mm.
