Part of being a photographer means that we get to witness some of the amazing turning points in people’s lives. Being able to capture the moment where a new family member is brought into this world is something that we always love to see. LA provides an abundance of great maternity photography locations. When it comes to newborns, we have learned that no baby can take a bad picture! Here is some information to help you plan for your maternity or newborn session.
Los Angeles is filled with great locations for maternity photography. We have done sessions in parks, at the beach, or in the city. Choosing your setting is extremely important. For a more intimate setting, we have done in-home maternity sessions where we set up a backdrop, or use the natural surroundings of your home. For maternity photography we are willing to travel all throughout Los Angeles, including Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Studio City, Valencia, and Santa Clarita. We have also had clients from Orange County as well as Ventura and the Antelope Valley.
**Newborn sessions are done in our newborn studio, located 20 minutes north of Canyon Country in West Palmdale (Anaverde). Photos of our studio will be available soon!

Newborn sessions need to be done within the first 7 days of birth, preferably within the first 5. The reason is that the baby is the sleepiest and most flexible during that time. Pregnancy portraiture should be planned for the late second/early third trimester of pregnancy. We want you to be comfortable during your session, especially because we are going to be moving around a bit.
Maternity photography pricing is based upon location, and day of shoot. Our basic package starts at $199.00 for session alone.
Newborn Sessions vary a bit on pricing, and depend on location, day of shoot, how many newborns involved, and how long after birth your session will be. Our basic package starts at $299.00
Keep in mind above prices are for session only, additional products such as digital files, prints, or albums are extra.
