We offer various different types of portraits for all families looking to capture amazing moments in their lives. We have traveled all throughout Los Angeles helping families capture those special times. Every session that we plan includes the typical family portraits, but we try to incorporate a level of photojournalism into the mix. This candid element makes for photos that are truly beautiful in every way.
1) Remember when choosing location and clothing, coordinate with each other, and also choose based on what will compliment the elements in your home well. We hope to see some of our images on your wall one day!
2) We will try and plan your session around sunset. This allows us greater flexibility when it comes to lighting.
3) Hair and makeup is critical! Make sure that you look at our What to Wear Guide for more information on this, as well as great techniques for applications.
4) Props! Don’t bring them just for props sake, but bring something that connects with you!
First we will speak with you about the style and theme that you are going for. Please do not hesitate to look through our galleries if you need inspiration. Also be sure to check out sites like Pinterest and 500PX. This helps us to understand your expectations and prepare ourselves for your shoot. Next we schedule a time and a place that suits the look you are going for. We have portable background equipment suitable for indoor work if that is what you prefer, but most people prefer the amazing scenery Los Angeles can provide for photography. The choice is yours as we will travel anywhere within the greater LA area.
Afterwards, allow up to 3 weeks processing time for us to get your galleries ready. Once they are ready, we will email you to let you know. Just head to our clients page, and find your gallery toward the top.
Your Gallery will remain online for 30 days to allow you to share, and purchase. After that, they will be removed. Should you need more time, please contact us.
We have worked with hundreds of families in order to capture great moments in their lifetimes. We offer 1 and 2 hour sessions, and we also have larger packages such as “A day in the Life of.” Each shoot is specific, and we work with you to give you exactly what you want, therefore our quotes are assignment specific.
